This month we speak with Piotr Gładkowski, the owner of Kino Kameralne Café (Café Chamber Cinema) in Gdańsk, Poland, a small art house cinema opened at the beginning of 2019. It is located in the Old Town of Gdańsk on the oldest street called Długa.

This month we speak with Milena Modeva, the General Manager of CINÉ GRAND from Sofia, Bulgaria. CINÉ GRAND operates two multiplexes located in two shopping malls in different areas of the city. CINÉ GRAND Park Centre (with six screens) is in the very heart of the city, while CINÉ GRAND Ring Mall (with ten screens) is in outskirts right on the Ring road.

This month we speak with Hannele Pellinen, the manager of Kino Tapiola, located in the suburbs of Tapiola in Espoo, just outside Helsinki. Opened in 1955, the beautiful Kino Tapiola, whose interior is part of the Finnish architectural heritage, has one screen and 194 seats. In 2010 it re-opened with an art house profile fully renovated and digitalised.

This month we speak with Amer Becirbegovic, the Head of Programming at Obala Meeting Point. Obala Meeting Point is a cult cinema in Sarajevo. It was built in 1997 as a single screen cinema with 191 comfortable seats and a cinema cafe. It hosts the Sarajevo Film Festival, the biggest and most important film event in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the larger region.

This month we spoke to Snježana Lisičić, director of Kinoteka Zlatna Vrata (The Golden Gate), which is part of the Centre for Culture and Lifelong Leaning located in the old centre of Split, Croatia.

This month we spoke with Marijana Bosnjak, CEO and Head of Board of Kino Urania from the town of Osijek, in the Eastern part of Croatia. Cinema Urania/Kino Urania was a part of a company established in 1901, which had six single screens cinemas during 1910 and 1991.

This month we spoke with Vilma Levickaitė, the manager of Skalvija Cinema Center, a small and cozy art house cinema situated in central Vilnius. Well known amongst film lovers for its distinctive repertoire, the cinema is focusing on non-commercial European and world cinema, both classics and recent film, and is also the major venue for cinematic events: festivals, meetings with filmmakers, retrospectives, and special screenings such as the Vilnius Documentary Film Festival.

SOFIA: Sofia Meetings, 13-16 March 2014, will host the Europa Cinemas workshop "New approaches and audiences in the digital age."

This month FNE speaks with Sławomir Fijałkowski, the manager of Charlie Cinema from Łódź, Poland. In the past 20 years, Kino Charlie has become a flagship of Polish art house cinemas, with a tradition in welcoming innovation and experiment. It opened its internet page 17 years ago alongside the first online ticket reservation system in Poland and was the initiator of the Regional Digital Cinemas Network in the Łódź area.
